LE POLITIQUE

Printing Austin Digital Print
In celebration of Galentine’s Day, International Women’s Day and gearing up for Women’s History month, we created political trading cards, honoring political heroines of the past and present. Inspired by French trading cards “Le Femmes de l’Avenir” (Women of the Future). Taking on roles that were traditionally for men only, these cards imagined women as journalists, generals, and pilots—in a way that seemed almost fantasy or science fiction. Breathing new life into that idea—we wanted to portray the real women of the future. Strong women, speak their minds and deserve just as much power and say in a male-dominated world.

SXSW Guerilla Poster
Translated as “the ugly,” the name Il Brutto is a nod to the iconic Spaghetti Western film The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Now you get the "fist full of dollars" reference. In true rock-n-roll form, the posters were used as a guerrilla promotion for SXSW—and were promptly removed by city officials because unpaid advertising is not allowed during the conference. Quite on brand. Pasta was hand-made by a real Italian and then hand-Xeroxed on a real copier by me!
Astrology Postcards
A notte dedicated to being 100% that witch. Notte Della Strega, or "Night of The Witch" is an Italian celebration. Il Bene, Il Cattivo, and La Strega—or The Good, The Bad, and The Witch. Postcards used for astrology readings for an event held on Halloween. Spooky!
