Brit + Co Re:Make Summit + Maker Faire



We wanted to create a logo that was all things a logo should be - simple, versatile and brand appropriate. Brit+Co as a brand is loud, colorful and expressive. Most of our design elements for our Re:Make evoke that personality through the use of patterns. That being so, it's necessary for our logo to be versatile and able to be on many different colors and busy patterns.

We chose to use a modification of Brandon Grotesque Black. A geometric sans-serif type that ended up looking almost letterpressed once it was applied to various assets.

Event • 15k attendees

Brit + Co's fourth annual Re:Make and largest SF event. Re:Make is 2-day event consisting of 1 part Summit and 1 part Maker Faire. The goal of Re:Make is to empower women of all ages to be their most confident selves, to assist them in discovering and flexing their creativity, and to celebrate and explore the evolving landscape of creativity in a modern world. Day one consisted of speakers, including headliner Brené Brown and entrepreneurs like Justina Blakeney and Melanie Whelan, breakout sessions and DIY workshops. Day two consisted of a maker faire and festival with over 100 vendors, 3 creative workshops and 15 different sponsored activations.
