Design + Content
Dane and I got married last fall! So naturally with both of us being designers, we decided to take on our wedding branding + content. We built an identity system, website, and digital assets—we opted in for digital save the dates and invites, which we loved.
Save the Dates
We got engaged in a photo booth at the Ace Hotel in NYC. We both loved these images so much—how they captured us in our natural element (before the proposal), the rawness of emotion during, and our commitment to a great photo op (really bringing it home in the end). We wanted to share these with family and friends, so it made perfect sense to use them in our save the dates. Sent via Mailchimp! 10/10 recommend. You can see when people open it…and how many times they open it—which was really fun!
We actually didn’t anticipate doing our invites digitally (big sucker for printed things + ephemera), but after how easy and relatively stress-free it was to send the save the dates, it was impossible not to. We included detail cards the same way we would if we had printed. Added bonus? We were on the fence about which drop shadow we wanted for the invite and since we made a gif we didn’t have to choose. Got ‘em both!
